Phillip & I spent a week in Ecuador last month, and it was FABULOUS. We met fantastic people, hiked 5k at 13,000 feet, at amazing food, and swooned over the glittering and bright indigenous culture.

It was SO fabulous, in fact, that I didn’t want to spend any time hiding behind my big camera. So, I documented the whole trip with my iPhone!

Last month, we were honored to be a part of watching a year-long art project come to fruition. In 2011, I photographed several wonderful people and families who are each a part of the preservation of Thomas County’s unique culture and history. The exhibit is still currently being displayed at the Thomas County Cultural center, but it will soon move on to the next stop on the project’s journey! Here is a sample of what my part of the project was all about!

Every 6 months or so, a very special thing happens in Thomasville… The extraordinarily talented and dedicated kids of the Thomasville Music & Drama Troupe put on a show that leaves their audience breathless.

This year’s Holiday show was no exception; and weeks later, my kids are still singing and humming the songs, and talking about the show to anyone who will listen!
