Gorgeous Reid | Moultrie, Georgia Children’s Portraits

August 9th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

What a stunning, funny, sweet girl Miss Reid is!

She’s the kind of girl that is just too much fun to photograph, because she never makes the same face twice.  She spent her whole session with me imagining things and telling me stories and making funny faces, and having a lot of fun!

Her imagination is endless, and that is the kind of kid that makes me happiest!

*meep* Lori! So cute!! | Moultrie, Georgia Baby Portraits

August 9th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Oh my heavens, Lori is such a gorgeous little rolly-polly baby!

I love that her mama and grandmama made little head-dresses for her!

She loved playing dress-up!

Larkin is here! | Moultrie, Ga Newborn Portraits

August 5th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Once upon a time, on one of the coldest days that I can remember, Phillip and I photographed the wedding of Amy & Jeremy.

If it had been anybody else, it might have been a miserable day; but Amy & Jeremy are both such warm and funny and fantastic people, that it is still one of my favorite weddings ever!

So it only stands to reason that their new son, Larkin, is already an amazing little creature!  He is really honestly one of the most even-tempered, lovely babies I’ve ever been around!

(Not to mention that he’s utterly, edibly, adorable!)

Bella & Henry | Moultrie, Ga

August 5th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Bella & Henry are both model-gorgeous and their mama KNOWS how to dress them for photos.

I love every article of clothing that she brought for them to wear!

Their Daddy is a farmer, and we spent some time out at the farm as the sun was going down… it was a beautiful, beautiful day!

Reed | Moultrie, Georgia Kids Portraits

August 4th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

When Reed’s mama had the idea to have him photographed in his Football gear, I got SO gleeful!

And boy,  did this guy pull off the “tough guy” look in those pads!

I’ve heard somewhere that under his tough exterior and all those big muscles, Reed is one super-sweet, amazing kid… and I think it’s all right there in his eyes…

Mary Madison’s big ole’ eyes! | Moultrie, Ga Newborn Photography

August 2nd, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Usually, when we photograph newborns, they are in varying stages of sleep… but not Miss Mary Madison!  The whole time she was here, she was checking everything out with those big round eyes of hers!

Even when she got sleepy, it was pretty obvious that she just didn’t want to miss anything!

Alivia & Ava are dolls! | Moultrie, Georgia Portrait Photography

August 2nd, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Alivia is brand new in this world, but she has one really special big sister who will be there to show her the ropes!

And I hope Alivia gets a LOT of Ava’s silly, sweet personality as she grows up!

Baby Alivia was just a DREAM to photograph!

She was sleepy and cuddly and just wanted to snuggle and be cute!

I LOVE her long dark eyelashes, and powder pink lips!

Walker, the little grown-up man! | Moultrie, Georgia Children’s Portraits

August 2nd, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Walker’s mommy was telling me today that if Walker has his choice, he’ll be hangin’ out with the grown men.

He is into trucks and tools and all manner of manly things.

As tiny as he is,  he already has a “brooding” expression… even through his passy!

He really is a little man, as just as gorgeous as he can be!!

Creative Expressions Studios | Inspiring Disabled Artists

July 27th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Remember my sister who lived in Tanzania earlier this year?

She’s back stateside now, and she’s found a beautiful job, doing art therapy with disabled adults!

I was beyond honored when her studio invited me up to photograph all 80 of their clients!

I have rarely been as inspired, challenged, and thrilled as I was on the day that I spent photographing these people.

I don’t know what I expected when I went in, but what I found is that these people are amazing in every way.

We danced, hugged, and laughed so much that my cheeks hurt from smiling!

In the few hours I was with them, I was amazed by what I learned about the artists.

These are some of things that I think they would want you to know about themselves…

Grayson is a classic beauty! | Moultrie, Ga Portrait Photography

July 26th, 2010 by Carrie Viohl

Oh Grayson, with the bluest, most limpid eyes, and those petal pink lips…

She’s going to be a knock-out for sure!

Somebody commented earlier that she doesn’t even look real, and it’s true!  She looks like a living doll!

(And acts like a doll, too… she’s precious!)

I was nothing less than gleeful at the outfits and toys that her mama brought with her for their special photoshoot!
